Welcome
The CHA database is currently under development. Please check back again soon.
As part of our ongoing effort to raise public awareness about construction defect lawsuits and alternatives to litigation, the Consumer Housing Alliance is developing a unique database for consumers.
Once complete, the database will allow visitors to search for homes listed in construction defect lawsuits and retrieve information about the alleged complaint, including case number, date filed, court of jurisdiction, address, plaintiff names and a partial copy of the complaint. CHA will present this information objectively, without making judgment about a lawsuit’s merit.
Through this public service, CHA hopes to provide consumers and home owners with valuable information relating to homes that are or have been involved in construction defect lawsuits. This information is intended to assist the consumer and the homeowner in the disclosure process during the purchase or sale of a home.
If you have not yet filed a lawsuit, the Consumer Housing Alliance advocates more efficient, more productive, and less costly alternatives to litigation to correct construction defects, such as those alternatives suggested on this Website.
